The history of the Augusta Deliverance Evangelistic Church begins with Roy and Eva Myles who lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mother Dora Williams shared God's plan of salvation and introduced Jesus to Roy who shared the "Good News" with his wife who also later accepted. They received the call and challenge to the ministry and Pastor Myles' desire was to tell his friends and loved ones in his hometown (Georgia) about God's plan of salvation. Roy, Eva, and their four children left the security of an established job, home and community in Philadelphia to return home to carry out the great commission of Christ.
